Guests who are currently staying in hotels and have paid for vacations, which include December 31 and January 1, will receive a lunch package instead of a buffet.
Georgi Genov, director of HORES, sent an explanation of the decision of the Government of Serbia on the prohibition of the work of restaurants during the holidays that cannot work after 6 pm
– The ban on working also applies to hotels – says Genov.
This means that hotel guests will receive a gala dinner in the room as “room service” or as a lunch package if the hotel does not have enough service.
Right now, there are 6,000 tourists in hotels in mountain resorts and spas in Serbia, and the number will increase on December 30, when most of them plan to register.
– We received the decision of the Government of Serbia and asked for clarification, and it reads exactly like this. There is no gala dinner, just a lunch package. More precisely, they told us that the hoteliers would serve a gala dinner in the evening and finish it at 6 pm – says Genov.
