Kosovo Prime Minister Avdulah Hoti declared today that there will be no final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia without mutual recognition.
He responded by posting on Facebook the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who said the day before that Serbia would not recognize Kosovo while he was president.
“Statements that our neighbor to the north will not recognize the independence of Kosovo do not contribute to the dialogue.
The dialogue on clear principles of final agreements on normalization of relations and mutual recognition continued, and there will be no partial agreement. If there is no mutual recognition, there will be no agreement. “Kosovo will continue on its way to the European Union,” said Hoti.
The prime minister reiterated that “there is no agreement with Serbia without mutual recognition” and said that “Kosovo is committed to resolving all open issues with Serbia through an EU-mediated dialogue taking place in Brussels.”
