The Russian discount chain “Svetofor”, known in European countries under the brand MERE, will start operating in the Serbian market and in less than a month consumers will be able to stock up on their first markets.
Sales facilities are already being prepared and will open in Batajnica, Kruševac and Subotica no later than mid-January, during February in Kraljevo and Vršac, and a total of 15 stores are expected to open in our country by the end of April and early May.
We have prepared a short video of one of these markets:
As announced in mid-August from the branch of this Russian company in Belgrade, it is planned to open at least 100 markets in the Serbian market with an average area of 1,000 square meters. They then stated that their prices would be 20 percent lower than average, as well as that they planned to work directly with manufacturers, with strict quality control and a low markup.
