In the last 24 hours, 16,740 people in Serbia were tested for the corona virus, 4,910 of them tested positive, while sadly 51 people died.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the “Trampoline” Institute, there are 349 patients on ventilators in hospitals throughout Serbia.
We remind you that the debate on the possible liberalization of certain measures is in the public eye, especially due to the fact that this Friday expires the deadline set to limit hospitality work and most commercial facilities to 5:00 p.m., being totally forbidden to work on weekends.
On that occasion, a session of the Crisis Staff was held today, and the final measures will be announced at a press conference at 3 pm in the Palace of Serbia.
The working hours of stores and shopping centers could be extended until 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and on weekends until 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m., “Blic” has learned. For now, this is the most likely option of a new working hours following the possible relaxation of measures on the eve of the New Year holidays.
As things stand now, it is possible to extend working hours on the same principle and service activities such as hairdressers, estheticians and the like, but for now, longer working hours for catering facilities ARE NOT A OPTION!
The final decision on these changes will be made in the new session of the Crisis Staff, which, as announced by “Blic”, will take place on Monday, December 21 at dawn.
