The development of a detailed regulatory plan for the movement of UMP traffic from the T-6 road to the Pancevo bridge – sector 3, from the tunnel exit to Dr. Milutin Ivković to the Šumica crossing was initiated by the Land Directorate of Construction and Construction of Belgrade. in order to create planning opportunities for the completion of the inner ring road.
The construction of the inner ring road should alleviate the central area of individual traffic, reduce the volume of traffic on the existing bridges over the Sava and provide alternative opportunities to connect certain parts of the city with the city center and with each other.
The areas planned for public purposes are the road network, green areas (plaza, park and protective green belt), common areas (city market), areas for facilities and infrastructure complexes, areas for facilities and complexes of public services.
Areas planned for other purposes are residential areas (transformation of family dwellings into partially formed city blocks into multi-family dwellings), mixed urban centers, and commercial facilities.
