The president of the Union of Doctors and Pharmacists of Serbia, Rade Panic, told Radio Free Europe today that he was convinced that data on the number of deaths from covid-19 was being hidden in Serbia at the moment, noting that there was evidence that death certificates and discharge lists were being changed.

However, investigative journalism managed to obtain data on the death toll and it turned out that during the summer, the government manipulated the data, said Panić of the “Most” program.
Now they are a little more careful with the number of deceased, but I think they still hide the real data. I have some evidence that death certificates and discharge lists are being modified. When a medical colleague wrote that the patient had died from covid-19, the next day the boss arrived, canceled the discharge list and changed the data, Panic said.
He points out that the government has become very strong and thinks that everything is allowed, but the situation is so bad that almost all families in Serbia feel it.
The death toll is rising, so I’m afraid everyone will soon know someone who lost his life during this epidemic, Panić warned.
We have a big problem, he said, to get the correct data on the number of new patients and deaths, how much protective equipment is there, how many tests are being done.
When it comes to testing, huge numbers are advertised, which are very difficult to verify, Panic added.
Panic mentioned that the majority of the Crisis Staff are politicians and always outnumber the profession in votes, but the problem is that even those politicians do not make decisions independently, but Prime Minister Ana Brnabic must consult with President Aleksandar Vucic for action to be taken.
It seems that at this moment, a man, a lawyer, who is absolutely incompetent and incompetent to make decisions about the epidemic, decides what should be done in health care. I fear that it could cost us a lot in the health and lives of citizens, predicted Panic.
Panic said that according to official data, more than 2,500 health workers had the crown, but noted that each figure that is officially announced must be multiplied by at least two, “and in a moment the number of new patients must multiply by five – to know the real situation “. “.
In contacts with Dr. Predrag Kon, I became convinced that he, as the leading or most advanced member of the crisis staff, and of those who are active, probably the best epidemiologist, has no field data. When I asked him this summer if he knew he was burning in Novi Pazar, he replied that he would ask, he recalled.
