Some candidates who applied to the Nis Clinical Center contest are concerned about the way healthcare workers are selected for the new Kovid hospital in Krusevac, because instead of speaking live at the last minute, it was decided that the commissions would speak with them on the phone.

However, as they write Southern News, KC Director Nis Zoran Perisic says that due to the difficult epidemiological situation, it is not certain that more than 850 candidates will be examined live in a short period, but points out that there will be practically no big differences, because they will get the same questions.

The Nis Clinical Center has announced an announcement for 641 doctors, technicians and nurses, who will get a permanent job at the Kovid hospital that is being built in Krusevac after a trial period of six months, and will remain working in this city after the epidemic.

Once the contest was over, the commissions began to select the candidates to be hired, because there are more applicants than places in the hospital.

Some of them are concerned about the way they are chosen: the conversations are not live, but over the phone.

Initially, a notice was posted on the KC Nis website that the interview with the candidates would take place at the Nis Clinical Center facilities, and after a few hours that notice was changed with the explanation that due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the interview with the candidates will be done by phone. .which creates a reasonable doubt in the correct and realistic selection of candidates’ ”, writes one of the candidates.

The Nis Clinical Center received more than 850 applications, tasked with selecting the healthcare workers who will work at the new kovid hospital in Krusevac, says director Zoran Perisic, who will make the final decision on who will get the job among them.

He says that it is a large number of people and that is why it was decided that the commissions would speak with them by phone.

“The commissions will conduct telephone interviews with the candidates today and tomorrow, because it is epidemiologically unacceptable to bring 850 people to the Nis Clinical Center, because that could further compromise our operation. After that, the commission will give its opinion on Monday. I think that, in real terms, the list of accepted candidates will be published, “says Perišić.

Perisic assures that the concern of some candidates that this means that the work will be shared “through the connection” and the question of whether objectivity is in danger because of that, because they will ask the candidates of the commission the same questions for phone, as if they were talking live.

He also says that conversations are not mandatory with everyone, but that they still decided to ask them some questions to get a clearer picture.

“We are not obliged by law to do that, nor did we say it in the conditions of the competition, but we believe that we should talk to the people, state what their task is, what is expected of them. that there is a trial period of 6 months and when they can apply for a job. Because there are people among them who are employed, legally they have a notice period of 15 days that must be fulfilled, so all that must be harmonized ” says Perišić.

Although these health workers will be formally part of KC Nis, they will all work in Krusevac, in the new kovid hospital that is under construction, and Perisic says the plan is to raise the capacities of the Rasina district after the epidemic, as well as the quality and level of treatment. those who are employed through this competition will also help in that. One of the questions was how those who are from Nis and find work will travel to Krusevac, Perisic announced in organized transport, but that more details will be known after the elections.
