Dabro-Bosnia Metropolitan Chrysostom, who is presiding over the Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) following Patriarch Irinej’s death, was admitted to hospital tonight due to a corona infected with the virus, the SOC announced.

The Metropolitan is said to have been admitted to the KBC “Dr. Dragisa Misovic” in Belgrade at night, because he had a positive test for the presence of the virus.

The Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church Irinej and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Litoral Amfilohije died as a result of that infection.
