The Secretary of State of the Serbian Ministry of Health, Mirsad Đerlek, said today that the epidemiological situation throughout the country is difficult and uncertain.
“We will do everything possible to improve the situation and I hope that we will slow down the spread in the coming days,” Djerlek said.
As he said, the health system is still strong and ready to respond to the challenge of the third wave of the coronavirus epidemic, because the state has provided everything that is needed.
“Our aim is to provide a bed for everyone who needs it, whether in Belgrade or somewhere nearby, it doesn’t matter,” Djerlek told TV Prva.
“It is obvious that a group of people does not understand how vicious and severe Kovid 19 is. The state will continue to implement measures, we will continue with massive tests because that way we will carry out triage, and of course we hope that vaccination will increase herd immunity” added. is Djerlek.
