Their days are spent wandering around and searching for Barbara, and the various information that reached them, which was seen in Hungary, Greece, Romania, only made their unenviable situation even more difficult.

THEY ALSO LOST A CHILD

The cruelty of the saying that an accident never goes alone, Barbara Vitez’s parents felt in the most terrible way in early March 2019. Endre and Melinda were left without their son Attila (24), who died in the Kikinda hospital as a result of the flu.

A few months ago, a group from Budapest, a group looking for the missing, told them that they had been seen in the Hungarian capital, but it all ended there, and there is no official confirmation.

– What can I say? – Endre, Barbara’s father, speaks for “Novosti” in an almost helpless voice, adding that their hands are tied and that no one is taking further action regarding Barbara’s disappearance. – Four full years have passed and our son is still missing. We dream that one day we will discover the truth about her, and we live for that day. Both my wife Melinda and I are in poor health. Due to the three nervous attacks I had, I was sent to a disability pension.

Barbara’s parents, who turned 19 in August, are more hurt by the fact that they do not know where she is, and every day they live with one wish, that she return home.

YELLOW INTERPOL WARRANTY

Interpol was also informed about the disappearance of BARBARA, which still has no epilogue. That is, his name and surname with the photo are in the so-called yellow order since March 2018, that is, in the list of missing persons who are being wanted. However, that has yet to pay off.

Endre also approached the Minister of Police by email for help, through a Belgrade private detective who offered them help in the search for his daughter, but as he claims he has not received any response to this day.

Barbara, then a first-grader at the Higher School of Economics and Commerce, disappeared under still unexplained circumstances on November 25 after returning from a friend’s birthday party. According to the official version, the girl slipped and fell from the bridge into the river, which was reported by her two friends, who were with her that night. The search for Barbara’s body began immediately, but despite a detailed search of the Tisza riverbed, shoreline, and shoreline, not a single item of clothing was found, raising suspicions among parents that Barbara was fell from the bridge into the river.
