The vice president of the Freedom and Justice Party, Marinika Tepic, affirmed that Igor Brnabic, brother of Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, “was forced to resign on Thursday from the position of director of the Asseco company.”

“It is proof that we were right when we asserted that billions were suspiciously allocated from the state budget since 2017, when Sister Ana became prime minister,” Tepic said.

He recalled that “for months they presented facts and evidence, appealed to the prosecution to act for acts of corruption, and then they went to the three world stock exchanges where Asseco is listed, as well as to the central board of this company in Poland” .

“We point out to you that such a corrupt business causes serious harm not only to the Republic of Serbia and its citizens, but also to the Asseco company itself, convinced that it is certainly not guided by the interests of the party and the fraternity, but by standards professionals, “Tepic said.

Tepic points out that Prime Minister Brnabic must protect the state budget, which is filled by the citizens and taken care of by them, “and not by his brother through the companies and organs of his government.”

“The latest in a series of numerous tests we showed in front of the media on Tuesdayas Minister Siniša Mali allocated 313 million dinars to the company of Ana Brnabić’s brother, Asseco, in July, and then Minister Zoran Đorđević in April up to 692 million, “he said.

Tepic emphasizes that the resignation of Igor Brnabic in a private company “will not absolve him or his sister, the prime minister of Serbia, of responsibility.”

“There are prosecutors who will do their job and we will continue investigating all the abuses of this regime, the party and the brothers,” concluded Marinika Tepic.
