Colonel Dr. Petar Bogdanović revealed that the situation in Belgrade, more precisely in the Arena temporary hospital, is dramatic.
Currently, 3,200 patients are being treated at this hospital, and in Belgrade, about a third of all patients.
Regarding the clinical picture of the patient, Dr. Bogdanović, who joined the program “Questionnaire” on live RTS, says that it is extremely difficult.
“We pay the guild for rest, wintering and non-compliance with the measures”, says Dr. Bogradović and reveals what is the clinical picture of the patients in the Arena now:
“Severe pneumonia, serious condition, up to 85 percent of them initially require oxygen support. The ratio of men and women among the sick is the same, maybe there are a few more men.
Younger patients, in their 20s and 30s, with a very serious clinical picture, attend more and more frequently. Previously, we had several elderly patients, who had other diseases besides the crown, which further complicates the course of the disease, “said Dr. Bogdanović.
Dr. Milika Ashanin added that the situation in Batajnica is very serious and that the system is overloaded.
