Two citizens of Serbia were injured last night in Montenegro, when the van they were in landed in an abyss in the town of Subadanj, on the main Podgorica-Kolašin highway.
According to the Commander of the Protection Service, Zeljko Darmanovic, the location and recovery of the wounded lasted from midnight to seven this morning, writes “Vijesti”.
– At midnight, the injured reported that their vehicle landed off the road, before leaving the road and the Grlo bridge. According to that report, the search of the land, in which members of the Rescue Service and OB Kolašin participated, was unsuccessful, so we requested the support of the Operational Communication Center. Therefore, a wider location was determined, so we started looking on the road and noticed traces of vehicle landings in Subadanj, Darmanović said.
According to him, mountaineering equipment was used to reach one of the injured and his recovery lasted until seven in the morning.
Eight members of the Service participated in the rescue operation.
According to Darmanović, the injured were transported by ambulances to the Montenegro Clinical Center.
