As said and written at the time, Josip Broz Tito was enchanted by the beauty of Usnija Redžepova, and met her when she was invited to entertain hunters on his property in Karađorđevo. After the performance, Tito’s assistant approached her and told her that the president wanted to meet her.

Usnija also delighted the Mexican ambassador, who told her that they would like to have one of her dishes. Even Fidel Castro, the Cuban president, was delighted with her beauty.

In 2015, Usnija Redzepova passed away at the age of 69 after a fight with cancer, and this news saddened the entire region. After that, the media were inundated with information about the riots that occurred.

That is, on a profile of the social network Facebook, an advertisement appeared selling antiques by Usnija Redžepova, as well as her piano, which adorned the luxury house in Dušanovac. The strangest thing is the fact that the bed of the late singer, in which she spent the last moments of her life, is in the same advertisement.

Usnia’s friend was shocked by this unusual move.

– Shele and Usnija created a lot. They often changed apartments and houses. For a time, they had a hall in the center of Belgrade and then a castle in Moštanica. The last apartment was in Dušanovac. The house is full of many values. Usnija brought antiques from all over the world. He traveled the world with his song and always brought something. These were not souvenirs, but really expensive things. The piano and all the souvenirs that Usnija adored, as well as the bed in which he slept, fell ill and spent the last moments of his life, are now on sale. She could play the piano for friends and sing when there were some meetings, she was very close to him. It’s a terrible pity. Instead of Usnija’s things going to a museum, as exhibits, in memory of one of the greatest stars of all time, they are sold in advertisements. They probably put it up for her brother and daughter-in-law to sell because she just had them, “Usnia’s friend said at the time.
