In Kosovo and Metohija, 12 more died and 524 new people infected

In Kosovo and Metohija, in areas under the supervision of the Kosovo government health system, in the last 24 hours, another 12 people died from kovid 19.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 1,186 people have died and, according to doctors, other accompanying diseases.

The Pristina Institute of Public Health recorded 524 new cases of coronavirus infection based on testing 1,555 samples. There are 11,868 active cases.

2,057 users and 902 employees were infected in social protection institutions

The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans Affairs and Social Affairs announced that 2,057 users and 902 employees of these institutions fell ill in institutions of social protection and homes for adults and the elderly.

A total of 1,617 users were cured, as well as 804 employees in social protection institutions, it is added in the announcement.

Most new patients in Belgrade, but fewer than yesterday

Of the 5,679 new coronavirus cases, 1,420 are still in the highest number of new cases in Belgrade, but that number is lower compared to yesterday, when more than 1,500 were recorded.

It is followed by Novi Sad with 346 new cases, then Kragujevac with 253, Nis with 211. Kraljevo is fifth in terms of the number of infected in Serbia with 170, followed by Pancevo with 155, Subotica 117, Valjevo 110.

Fewer than 100 new cases are registered in Cacak – 91, Uzice 84, Zrenjanin 81, Sabac, Smederevo and Leskovac 79 each, Krusevac 76 and Vranje 71.

In other cities, fewer than 50 people were reported to be infected.

In the last 24 hours, 16,886 samples were analyzed, of which 5,679 were positive for coronavirus.

48 patients died.

Currently, there are 8,667 patients in treatment, while 319 patients are on ventilators.

In that hospital 483 patients are cared for, of which 48 have been intubated.
