In the last 24 hours, 13,518 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 2,632 were recently infected. Unfortunately, 14 patients died. There are currently 152 patients on ventilators throughout Serbia.
According to yesterday’s data, 13,416 citizens were tested and 2,561 tested positive for the coronavirus. Fifteen patients died. There were 148 patients on ventilators throughout Serbia.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 431,680 people have been infected in Serbia and 4,306 have died. The death rate is 1 percent. A total of 2,824,207 samples were analyzed.
The director of the KCS Infectious Diseases Clinic, Goran Stevanović, said today after meeting with the directors of covid hospitals that it is possible to tighten measures if the epidemiological situation continues to worsen.
– We are thinking first of all to ask for a shortening of the working hours of the catering facilities and a further reduction in the capacity of the tourist facilities – said Stevanović adding that the number of people infected with covid-19 and patients requiring treatment hospitable is growing.
Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar announced that 1.2 million Pfizer vaccines will arrive in Serbia in the second quarter instead of half a million, and in the third quarter, instead of 400,000, 1.19 million Pfizer vaccines will arrive.
