In the last 24 hours, 13,416 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 2,561 were recently infected. Unfortunately, 15 patients died. There are currently 148 patients on ventilators throughout Serbia.
According to yesterday’s data, 13,063 citizens were tested and 2,467 tested positive for the coronavirus. 16 patients died. There were 142 patients on ventilators throughout Serbia.
In the previous 24 hours, most of the newly infected people are still in Belgrade (838), followed by Novi Sad (131) and Vranje (106). Kragujevac (93), Nis (93), Kraljevo (68), Krusevac (58) and Jagodina with (54) are on the infamous list. Then follow Uzice (52), Arandjelovac (43), Pancevo (37), Subotica (36), Zajecar (30), Sabac (28), Cacak (27), Pozega (26), Arilje (26), Vrbas) , Aleksinac (24), Novi Pazar (23), Paracin (22), Raska (22), Kula (22), Stara Pazova (21), Smederevo (20) and Sombor (20).
In other cities and municipalities, fewer than 20 new cases were reported.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 429,048 people have been infected in Serbia, while 4,292 have died. The death rate is one percent. So far, 2,810,689 samples have been analyzed.
Since the start of vaccination, according to the latest data, 1,018,937 vaccines against the coronavirus have been administered. According to the number of vaccinated per million inhabitants, Serbia ranks second in Europe, after Great Britain, and sixth in the world after Israel, Seychelles, United Arab Emirates, Great Britain and the United States. Serbia is convincingly the first in the region in terms of the number of vaccinations per million inhabitants, followed by Romania, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria and Albania.
According to the total number of vaccinations, Serbia ranks second in the region, after Romania.
