The vaccination was provided with the support of the Serbian government, according to the Podgorica daily.

Earlier this week, the Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce informed the public that the Investment Forum of the Western Balkan Chamber (KIF ZB6) allowed the vaccination of businessmen interested in the region today and tomorrow in Belgrade.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of KIF ZB6, Marko Ada, stated that the AstraZenek vaccine is available, as a first step to mitigate the consequences of the epidemic for Western Balkan entrepreneurs and as an additional step towards creating a market common in the region.

Ade today visited the BelExpo center in New Belgrade, where the coronavirus vaccination was organized for entrepreneurs in the region, and as announced by the PKS, the aforementioned chamber supplied 10,000 doses of vaccines in cooperation with the Government of Serbia.

About 7,500 entrepreneurs from the economies of the Western Balkan region have applied for the vaccination this weekend in Serbia, which is provided through the Investment Forum of the regional Chamber in cooperation with the Government of Serbia.

Ade pointed out that vaccinating entrepreneurs in the region is important because they know each other in business and travel a lot. Addressing the Belexpo Center, he said that entrepreneurs are aware that no one in the region is an island and that this cannot even happen, and stated that some 12,000 Serbian business entities are cooperating with colleagues in the region.

Among the applicants for the weekend vaccination, which, in addition to two locations in Belgrade, also takes place in Niu, the majority are businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Albania.

Ade said there are also businessmen from Kosovo, although the president of the local chamber of commerce declined the invitation to join.

He noted that in a couple of weeks, between 4,000 and 5,000 Serbian businessmen were vaccinated in Serbia at the invitation of the SCC.
