2,400 doses of Sputnik V vaccine arrived in Serbia

The first contingent of the Russian vaccine against the coronary virus Sputnik V has arrived at the Torlak Institute.

– We are at the end of a difficult year. However, we have good news. another beautiful and very important day for Serbia. I think we are the only country that currently has two vaccines from different manufacturers – said the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Health, Mirsad Đerlek.

He mentioned that today we received 2,400 doses of Sputnik V.

– Right now, we have two strong trump cards to oppose the crown much more seriously and to finally end the story with this epidemic. I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to all citizens that the vaccine is the only means that can help us and respond to mass vaccination – he added.

Djerlek said a new Pfizer vaccine quota of 20,000 vaccines will arrive on January 4, while Sputnik V is expected to be in use after the New Year.

– We hope to begin mass vaccination from the end of January. We are also waiting for a Chinese vaccine, I have no information on when it will arrive, but the people of ALIMS say that these are days – concluded the Secretary of State.
