In the last 24 hours, 10,637 citizens were tested for the corona virus in Serbia, of which 1,592 were recently infected.

Unfortunately, 21 patients died. There are currently 162 patients on respirators nationwide.

That is a significant drop in the number of newly infected compared to yesterday’s report. Yesterday we had 1,839 positives out of 11,443 analyzed, 20 people died and 164 patients with respirators.

So far a total of 398,804 citizens have been vaccinated, and today 26,002.

Belgrade still registers the highest number of new infections (453), followed by Novi Sad (80), Kragujevac (54), Nis (53), Krusevac (47), Uzice (43), Kraljevo (34), Valjevo (33) , Vranje (30), Sabac (29), Jagodina (23), Prijepolje (21), Trstenik (20) and Vranjacka Banja (20).

Other cities and municipalities had fewer than 20 new infections in the previous 24 hours.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić confirmed that 40,000 doses of Russian Sputnik V vaccines will arrive tomorrow, 20,000 plus 20,000 for vaccination and revaccination, and that other vaccines will continue to arrive and that we will fight for each one.

The Crisis Staff will hold its first session tomorrow at 9 am after the discovery of the British crown strain in Serbia.
