15,000 euros are non-refundable to young people in Serbia, you need to meet a couple of conditions

These three projects concern young farmers and starting a business, entrepreneurship of women in agriculture and the food industry, Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimović told Tanjug.

A project whose realization is with DFC A guarantee scheme for credit support to Serbian farmers is already under way, providing guarantees, Nedimović specified.

“Where we with DFC, we guarantee 60 percent of the guarantee if someone wants to buy a machine, land, start a business in agriculture, the food industry. The ministry also applied for non-repayable loans for young farmers of around 15,000 euros.

“We are already working on this project under the national budget, but we would like to do it with DFC. These are grants of 15,000 euros, non-refundable, to start an agricultural business for children under 40 years of age, ”he says. Minister Nedimović.

These subsidies are applied, he says, to the cultivation of livestock, fruits and vegetables, “like the three great branches of agriculture that unite people to the countryside.”

DFC investments in agrotourism are also expected, and the Ministry of Agriculture already has some lines that are “covered” with the national budget, from IPARD.

“Everything is in vain for you, if you produce food and have no one to sell it to,” said Nedimović.

When asked when the planned projects with DFC could start to take place, Nedimović replied that “we have to ask the DFC commander in Serbia.”

“As far as we are concerned, we can do it tomorrow, we are ready,” says Nedimović.
