During the first five hours from the start of the online application for a one-time financial aid of 100 euros, one million citizens of Serbia applied through the Treasury website. From Friday, registration will be possible by phone, through the call center whose numbers will be published, and the same day, May 15, the payment of 100 euros will automatically start for pensioners and citizens who receive social assistance , that is, to the categories that did not have to register.

As Finance Minister Siniša Mali announced this morning, the payment will be made in succession every five days, and the state has planned around 60 billion dinars for this measure.

– Every five days, we will pay those who submitted the request – said Siniša Mali and pointed out that it is not necessary for everyone to request it at the same time, because there is enough time for everyone.

Applications for financial aid of 100 euros will last until June 5, and the Minister previously announced that the payment should start on June 1 and that the state will complete the payment to all those who have expressed their desire to receive those 100 before June 15 or 20. euros

Who is entitled to 100 euros?

All adult citizens of the Republic of Serbia are entitled to one-time financial assistance in the amount of € 100. On April 24, 2020, when the Decree on the establishment of the temporary register and the method of payment of the single financial assistance to all adult citizens of the Republic of Serbia of the negative effects caused by the pandemic of the disease COVID -19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, have an active residence in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, with a valid identification card.

Citizens who were born in the Republic of Serbia, reside in Serbia and who worked and receive a pension from abroad are also entitled to 100 euros. And they must register through the Treasury portal or the contact center.

– This is a support measure because we want to bring a dose of optimism, to show how strong Serbia is, so that everyone gets around 12,000 dinars. This is good for increasing spending, liquidity, but also the way in which, as a state, we want to support all citizens to go through all this together – said the Minister of Finance Siniša Mali during the presentation of this support measure to the citizens.

Registration is very simple and takes less than a minute, and citizens leave their unique identification number (JMBG), their identification number and the bank where they have an open account, which will be paid 100 euros.

If the citizen does not have a checking account, it is necessary to indicate in which application they want to open a single dedicated account, or choose that bank from the list when applying online, after which the account will be opened automatically, at no cost. After withdrawing the money, the dedicated account will be closed.

The funds in a dedicated account are withdrawn in cash, and if a citizen has received money in his current account, which was previously active, he can use it as he usually does.
