In late August, the Civil Police concluded that Flordelis was responsible for the murder of Anderson do Carmo. The investigation indicates that the weapon used in the crime was bought by the deputy. Flávio dos Santos, Flordelis’s biological son, is designated as the perpetrator of the shots that killed the pastor.
According to investigations, the deputy would be unhappy with the way the pastor handled the family’s money. In addition to Flordelis, ten more people were denounced for the murder of the pastor in the early morning of June 16, 2019 in Niterói. The deputy denies the accusations.
