The false nurse arrested by the Federal Police on suspicion of applying vaccines against covid-19 in the garage of a bus company in Belo Horizonte was released this Saturday afternoon 3. The flagrant arrest, last Tuesday, 30, had become preventive after a custody hearing. The arrest was justified by article 373 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which provides a penalty of 10 to 15 years in prison for those who “falsify, corrupt, adulterate or alter products intended for therapeutic or medicinal purposes.”

The woman has now been released on provisional release.

Videos obtained by the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo report show people being vaccinated in cars on the night of the last day 23. The images were recorded by residents of the place, who denounced the clandestine immunization scheme.

The accusations and the report led the Federal Police to open an investigation front and trigger Operation Camarote, which searched the headquarters of the bus companies and homes linked to businessmen.
