The most recent data presented by the State of São Paulo indicates 3,709 deaths from the new coronavirus, with 101 deaths from the disease recorded in the last 24 hours. According to the State Department of Health, there are 9,800 hospitalized patients, 3,909 in the ICU and 5,938 in the ward. Of the total hospitalizations, 300 hospitalizations occurred in the last 24 hours.
The occupancy rate of ICU beds reserved for coronavirus cases is 67.9% statewide and 83.3% in the São Paulo metropolitan region.
