Emergency aid may be delayed in its release, which until then was scheduled for March. The reason for the possible delay in the delivery of the benefit is the dissatisfaction of some senators in relation to the proposal to disconnect spending on health and education, which appears in the opinion of the Rapporteur of the Emergency PEC, Senator Márcio Bittar (MDB-AC).
What should delay the vote on the PEC Emergency that is scheduled for this Thursday (25). However, the president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (DEM-MG), has already indicated that he may postpone the vote until next week, due to pressure from senators on Bittar’s opinion.
The delivery of emergency aid in March will depend on the agility of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
Meanwhile, the economic team plans to pay the aid in the amount of R $ 250.00, in four installments, totaling R $ 1,000. Already senators and deputies, they prefer the aid in the amount of R $ 300, the same amount that was paid between September and December 2020.
Help seems like a Mexican soap opera plot, each day a different drama. The suspense is due to how many people will benefit. The only certainty is that Bolsa Família will also be included to receive the four installments of the aid.
This Tuesday (23), Arthur Lira, president of the Chamber of Deputies, defended, live from the newspaper Valor Econômico, the decoupling of the education and health budgets and said that if the matter is not addressed in the Senate, it may be debated by the deputies, even if the text has to go back to the senators to validate the changes.
