The security cameras of a store in Taguatinga (DF) captured the moment in which a man, identified as a member of the Fire Department, attacks the programmer Jair Aksin Reis Canhête with two slaps on the face. The incident occurred last Friday near a metro station in Taguatinga.

In a statement to police released by the Metropoles website, Jair said the confusion occurred after he noticed the firefighter was harassing a woman in line to buy subway tickets. According to him, the woman was standing in front of him talking on the phone. “Shortly after, this man appeared and ran his hand down the girl’s back. She had no reaction, she was in shock. The man just laughed, ”he said. Jair then approached the man, who is said to have pulled out a pistol and attacked the programmer.
Also according to Jair’s testimony, Metro security guards reached out to find out what was going on. “I was still there when the agents were identified as a military firefighter and presented the documentation,” the boy said.
After the confusion, the inspectors asked Jair to stay a few more moments and let the soldier go. “They said the guy was stressed, but that he was the one who had committed the crime. Anyway, I waited 15 minutes and then went on my way, ”he explained.
However, the programmer said the man was in hiding, waiting for him to leave the station. Scared, the boy ran to take refuge inside a shop specializing in the sale of fish and aquariums. “I tried to position myself next to a security camera to at least record that it could kill me. Fortunately, he pulled out the gun, hit me, but didn’t pull the trigger, ”he said.
