A video recorded by security cameras in a building recorded the moment when a white public service in Tucson collided with a silver pole and invaded the bike lane of Boa Viagem Avenue, in the South Zone of Recife. The accident left four injured, two in serious condition, this Sunday (20). In the images you can see that the Tucson was going at high speed (see video above).
The driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident and three other people on the sidewalk were injured in the accident. There were two pedestrians and a cyclist, according to the Recife Municipality of Traffic and Urban Transport (CTTU).
At the beginning of the images, it is possible to see the Pole traveling in the middle of Avenida Boa Viagem. Subsequently, the white Tuscon quickly approaches and hits the rear of the Polo.
The driver loses control, cannot brake in time, and heads to the right, where the bike lane, sidewalk and jogging track are. It is also possible to see some people run over by the white light and some pedestrians running to help them.

The Tucson driver, identified as Ezequiel dos Santos, lost control and invaded the bike lane and sidewalk, hitting people. The car even made it to the exercise bar on the boardwalk.
The driver tested the breathalyzer on the spot, but the test was negative for alcohol consumption. According to CTTU, the boy was not detained.
Three people who were on the sidewalk and the driver of the Silver Polo, Rafaela Borges, were injured in the crash. According to preliminary information, she suffered an open fracture in her clavicle and was transferred to the Portuguese Hospital, in the center of Recife, in serious condition.
A person on the sidewalk suffered a traumatic brain injury and was also in serious condition. The injured were taken to Hospital da Restauração, also in the center of the capital, and to an Emergency Unit. HE G1 has not yet had access to the health status of these people.
According to information from the municipality, Rogério Silva Lacerda and Luciana Campelo were injured in the accident. The name of the other victim was not given.
