Maria Luiza Vieira, who adds that the online consultations will exclusively address the beneficiaries of the cooperative with suspicions or doubts related to Covid-19.

In the Virtual Office, the beneficiaries will receive assistance and, according to their clinical condition, they will be guided on the procedure to follow, in accordance with the guidelines and directives of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health (EM ). If the patient needs it, he will be referred to our service network for a face-to-face exam ”, explains the director of the Technical Council, Lorena de Castro Diniz.

Consultations will be held every day from 7 a.m. at 7 p.m. “One of the main weapons against Covid-19 is information. With so many false news and the volume of news available, we created this channel so that the patient has access to a secure source of information that is constantly updated, “explains Lorena.

With the proposal to encourage people to seek a better quality of life during the pandemic, the Cooperative launched the weekly television program, Unimed in Action, with health advice and clarification of doubts related to issues in vogue, such as the new coronavirus . . “We saw this need to clarify the doubts of the population with people who really understand the subject, such as our health professionals. We want to raise debates about the diseases that most affect the population, such as Covid-19, dengue or breast cancer, for example.
