Those who did not receive a call should reschedule their experience at 135

The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) contacted the insured to carry out the automatic rescheduling of medical examinations canceled in recent weeks. However, those who did not receive the call until last Friday 25, will have to reschedule the service on their own.

According to the institute, the insured who did not receive the call did not have a valid phone number. Therefore, those who have not been notified should reschedule their Central 135 or through the My INSS application.

The INSS also reported having hired a platform to improve the service. “You will only need to contact 135 if you cannot attend on the scheduled date and time, to proceed with the most appropriate rescheduling,” the agency explains.

Branch reopening

The Social Security agencies reopened on September 14. However, medical experts did not return to work when they claimed that the INSS did not comply with the health security protocols required by the new coronavirus pandemic.

Last Wednesday the 23rd, the Federal Court in Mexico City even prohibited the INSS from cutting off the tips of medical experts who did not return to work in person and suspended the return of medical experts to agencies deemed inappropriate. However, the Attorney General’s Office (AGU) revoked the exemption, claiming that many INSS policyholders, a “vulnerable part of the population,” could be harmed by the closure of these agencies.

A day later, the National Social Security Council (CNP) approved a resolution in support of the reopening of INSS agencies throughout the country. Of the 762 federal medical experts who should have returned to face-to-face care, 477 attended agencies last Thursday, 24, according to the INSS. Assistance was provided in 202 branches.
