The Minister of Health, Eduardo Pazuello, was admitted to a private hospital in Brasilia on Friday (30). The examinations indicated a state of dehydration, and therefore Pazuello remained in the hospital to receive serum.

Until 10:30 p.m., the Minister of Health was being monitored in the hospital, and without a scheduled discharge time. According to the ministry, Pazuello remained in the hospital “for hydration and medical monitoring and should be discharged soon” (see note below).

Pazuello had already faced dehydration in the past week, when he found out he was infected with the new coronavirus. The minister announced that he contracted Covid-19 on the 21st, nine days ago.

The Minister of Health, Eduardo Pazuello, went to the Rede Nova Star hospital, in Brasilia, on Friday night (30) to undergo tests to monitor the treatment of Covid-19. The procedure is part of the conduct indicated by the minister’s medical team.

Pazuello remains in the health unit for hydration and medical follow-up and must be discharged soon.
