Doctor Lula again. A judicial decision published on Wednesday (14) annulled the sentence of last Friday (9) that removed the title granted by the State University of Alagoas (Uneal) to the former president. This Wednesday’s decision was signed by the same judge, Carlos Bruno de Oliveira Ramos.
According to the text of the decision on Wednesday (14), the sentence was published in the digital records in an inappropriate way. According to the magistrate, this happened, possibly, due to some command given in the system unintentionally. “Since the draft was still being issued, it was in the queue for processes in preparation and ended up being finalized along with other corrected decisions on the same day,” he reports.
In addition, the judge declared that the popular action that requested the nullity of the medical degree granted to Luiz Incio Lula da Silva was prescribed. The title was awarded to Lula by the Alagoas State University (Uneal) on August 23, 2017.
