The Military Fire Department of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CBMERJ) intercepted, this Friday, the block of Estação Primeira de Mangueira, on Rua Visconde de Niterói. Through his press office, Mangueira said: “The Grêmio Recreativo Escola de Samba Estação Primeira de Mangueira, with the purpose of clarifying about the blockade of its court, as of today by the Fire Department, reports that the documentation for its legalization is already underway, in order to meet all the necessary requirements for the safety of all its regular customers. The delay was due to the Coronavirus pandemic, which made it difficult for the association’s board of directors to take action. It is important to note that the institution values the life and health of everyone and has demonstrated this in its actions since the beginning of the Covid-19 restrictions. According to Decree 47,345 of November 5, event producers must guarantee social distance, the use of a mask, the offer of 70% alcohol to the public and the maximum capacity of 50% of the total capacity.
