The director-president of FSV (Foundation for Health Surveillance) in Amazonas, Rosemary Costa Pinto, 61, died on Friday afternoon (22) in Manaus (AM), a victim of complications from COVID-19. The information is from Folha.

According to the report, Rosemary received the diagnosis of Covid-19 on January 5, starting treatment at home, but had to be hospitalized on the 11th. Her condition became complicated and ended without resistance.

On twitter, the governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima (PSC), paid tribute to Rosemary. “She was tireless in addressing so many epidemiological diseases and much in relation to Covid-19 in our state. It was the word that guided us and that had the respect of all who heard it. Go in peace, my dear Dr. Rose. Dra. Rose do Amazonas, ”said the governor, who declared an official mourning in the state for three days.
