The general commander of the Federal District Military Police, Julián Rocha Pontes, was exonerated from his position after breaking the vaccination line. His resignation will be published, this Friday (4/2), in an extra edition of the Official Gazette. The decision was confirmed by mail by sources of the Palace of Buriti.

This morning, there was a change in the vaccination schedule of the capital’s public security forces. After announcing the start of the immunization of the category this Saturday (3/4), the Department of Health backed down, and added it for next Monday (5/4).

Revolt

Information that high-ranking military personnel violated the vaccine line sparked outrage in the barracks. Besides the commander of the corporation, the deputy general commander of the PM, Colonel Cláudio Fernando Condi, also broke the line; the head of the Operations Department (DOP), Colonel Hemerson Rodrigues Silva; the Chief of Cabinet, Colonel Marcelo Helberth de Souza; and the operational deputy commander of the 2nd Regional Police Command, Lieutenant Colonel Eduardo Condi. The names were confirmed at mail by the PMDF itself.

Police sources with whom the report spoke said that the general commander of the PM, Julian Pontes, was vaccinated in the Basic Health Unit I (UBS I) of Asa Sul, on Wednesday (03/31). The immunization of colonels and commanders is given due to the current circular of the Federal District Health Secretariat, which provides for the disposal of the leftover vaccine, called “xepas” for the military police who are in charge of vaccines, transportation and vaccination.

In an official note released on Thursday (1/4), SES-DF reported that “these professionals (mentioned in the circular list) are also part of the priority group and will already be in places working precisely so that the population has peace of mind and safety during the application of vaccines ”.

One of those vaccinated in front of the squares is Lieutenant Colonel Eduardo Condi, brother of the Deputy Commander General, Colonel Cláudio Fernando Condi. Condi began working in the administrative area of the corporation after being prosecuted in the Naja case.

The military policeman is the stepfather of Pedro Henrique, the veterinary student bitten by the Naja snake, and, in the criminal scheme, he would have provided financial and material support for the residence to serve as a captivity for the snakes. The lieutenant colonel is responsible 23 times for wildlife trafficking, procedural fraud, mistreatment and criminal association.

Criminal complaint

The military deputy and firefighter Roosevelt Vilela (PSB) recorded a video that classifies the attitude of the military as “incredible and unacceptable.” “This (early vaccination) is disrespectful to the more than 20 military police officers who lost their lives due to covid-19. While you, an active police officer, are fighting and defending society, the commander-in-chief of the cabinet breaks the vaccine line, ”he said.

The deputy said that he will activate article 101 of the Organic Law, which provides, through the Legislative Chamber of the Federal District, the immediate dismissal of managers. He also affirmed that he will be representing a criminal complaint, demanding that the Corregedoria del PM open a justification council against the officers. “They are effective and energetic actions to maintain the morale and respect of each of these PMs, who day by day defend society,” he stressed.
