Brasilia: a group of hackers broke into the Army’s information system and published four medical examinations carried out by President Jair Bolsonaro at the Armed Forces Hospital on the Internet between June 2019 and January 2020. In all these tests, the representative he identified himself by his baptismal name, contrary to what he did with the exams for covid-19, when he claims to have used pseudonyms. The results released to the Federal Supreme Court (STF) on Tuesday were negative for the disease.

The information about the cyber attack was published on the website of the Época magazine this Thursday afternoon and confirmed by the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo. The military is still evaluating the magnitude of the problem.

Bolsonaro has already publicly stated that he has used code names to do tests since 2010. “What have I done in the last 10 years, to be sure? I already had a prescription from a handling pharmacy. I always talked to the doctor, because you can going there, ‘Jair Bolsonaro’, was fine, especially in 2010, when I started showing up a lot. Someone can do something strange. And so it was, every exam I do has a code. ” of April.

In a statement, the Force reported that “immediate measures have been taken to mitigate any consequences.” After an investigation is completed, “the necessary technical and legal actions will be developed,” according to the Army.

A Twitter account with the name DigitalSp4ce, which claims the attack by hackers and was suspended in the middle of the afternoon, published the following message: “Only after months the president decided to show his exams, this intrigued our group, we decided to return and invading the Database of the hospital where the collection was made, and guess what? Nothing proves that such a collection was made, not even under a pseudonym. “

In sending reports of his coronavirus examinations to the Supreme Court on Tuesday night, the President used a pseudonym. In two reports, the names are from other people, but the CPF and date of birth are from Bolsonaro. In a third test, he is only called “patient 5”, without citing any document number.

“For the exams, the fictitious names Airton Guedes and Rafael Augusto Alves da Costa Ferraz were used to register with the accredited Sabin laboratory, and all personal data on civil registration with the official agencies were kept,” says a letter signed by Rui Yutaka Matsuda, logistics commander at Hospital das Forças Armadas, where the first two tests were carried out.

Bolsonaro’s tests were only released after the O Estado de S. Paulo newspaper went to court to request access to them, claiming that the president’s health amid the new coronavirus pandemic is information of public interest. The president had already announced the negative results on social media, but declined to show the reports. Bolsonaro has appealed to prevent the judicial decision from being applied.
