A Brazilian military equipment industry informs stakeholders of the new notice of competition public (IMBEL 2021 Contest) to fill vacancies in positions at all educational levels. IMBEL 2021 contest registration
Those interested in competing for one of the vacancies may register between 2:00 p.m. on January 11 and 4:00 p.m. on February 18, 2021 on the website of the organizer of the selection, Fundação Getúlio Vargas ( FGV).
The registration fee for the IMBEL contest will cost R $ 31, for fundamental charges; R $ 32, for medium; and R $ 53, for higher education positions. The receipts can be paid until February 19.
IMBEL 2021 Contest
The objective tests of the contest will be applied on April 11, 2021 in the cities of Piquete SP, Itajubá-MG, Juiz de Fora-MG, Magé-RJ, Rio de Janeiro-RJ and Brasília-DF. The race will be eliminatory and qualifying.
The contest will have two different shifts to evaluate candidates, as follows:
- morning: (from 8 am to 12 pm) candidates for primary and higher education places will take the exam;
- Late: (from 15 to 19 hours) candidates for mid-level positions.
The objective test of higher level will have 60 questions, distributed among the subjects of Portuguese Language (15), Rational Mathematical Logic (15); Notions of Computer Science (10) and Specific Knowledge (20).
The mid-level exam will have 50 questions, distributed between Portuguese Language (20), Mathematical Logical Reasoning (15) and Notions of Computer Science (15).
Finally, the objective test at the fundamental level will have 40 questions, 20 of which are Portuguese and 20 are mathematical.

Fundamental level
- Establish at least eight questions in the discipline of Portuguese Language;
- Correct at least eight questions in Mathematics; and
- Don’t reset any discipline.
Medium level
- Establish at least eight questions in the discipline of Portuguese Language;
- Correct at least six questions in the Logical-mathematical reasoning discipline;
- Correct at least six questions in the subject Notions of Computer Science; and
- Don’t reset any discipline.
Upper level
- Correct at least 16 questions from Module I (Basic knowledge);
- Correct at least ten questions from Module II (Specific knowledge); and
- Don’t reset any discipline.
Other steps
In addition to the objective test, higher education candidates will also have an oral expression test, which will take place on the same day as the objective evaluation. Only the tests approved in the previous phase will be corrected.
The evaluation will consist of an Essay (value of up to 20 points) that will be written in an essay-argumentative genre, with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 lines.
The contest will be valid for two years, with the possibility of an extension for the same period. Those approved in the contest will be hired under the celetista regime.
