Last Tuesday (13), Diogo da Silva went for a walk with his stepdaughter, only 1 year and 5 months old, and was never seen alive again.
Diogo went out with his stepdaughter on a bicycle to make an appointment for the baby’s brother, this was the last moment the girl was seen alive. In an interview with Record TV, he said that he left the girl with a stranger to go to the bathroom. However, after spending 30 minutes at the scene, when he returned, he found neither the man nor the boy.
During the interview, the offender contradicted himself and said that he remained only 5 minutes in the place, not the 30 minutes previously reported. According to delegate Renata Costilhas, who is following the case, after the contradictions, Diogo confessed to the crime and indicated the place where he left the minor’s body.
The criminal confessed that he took the life of his stepdaughter and cut off her head with a knife. Police located the boy’s body, who was found decapitated.
I say that da Silva has been arrested and that the police will continue to investigate the crime.
