The soldier of the Military Police who threatened with a pistol a cable of the corporation this Friday (4), in the center of São Paulo, was arrested in flagrante delicto for threatening and for violence against a superior qualified for the use of a weapon. The information is from UOL.
According to the prime minister, Felipe do Nascimento would be transferred to the Romão Gomes military prison, in the north of the capital, where he will be detained.
The soldier threatened Corporal Márcio Simão de Oliveira Matias for arriving late from lunch. According to the internal record of the event, obtained by UOL, Nascimento had gone to lunch, but was slow to return.
When he returned, the police station corporal charged for the delay and said he would report to the sergeant as he would no longer be able to eat lunch. At that moment, according to the record, Nascimento drew his weapon for Corporal Simão and began to threaten him.
In a note, the prime minister said that he described as “very serious and repulsive” the fact of the early hours of this Friday, “where a policeman threatens another with a gun in his hand, on a public road.”
“The attitude directly violates the fundamental values of the institution, especially discipline, hierarchy, professionalism, honor and human dignity, thus demanding severe punishments, to the extent of its severity,” says the note.
The Prime Minister said that, in the case of a military crime, all the circumstances in which the events occurred are being investigated by the competent authority, at the headquarters of the Military Judicial Police.
The video with the threats from soldier Nascimento to Corporal Simão went viral on social networks. In the pictures, he can be seen pointing the gun next to the face of the guy in uniform.
Some people who followed the discussion encouraged the policeman in possession of the gun to shoot his colleague.
