Matheus Soliman and the friend Fábio de Souza he had been missing since October 4 after suffering a plane crash. In an interview with Uol, the sertanejo spoke about the moments of anguish that passed.

“It has been 24 days of great suffering, there is no way to explain everything we have been through. They went 24 days without eating anything. We even looked for it, but we didn’t find any fruit in the forest. We only survive with water from puddles and rain, ”he said.

Matheus, who was flying the plane at the time, said the plane had a breakdown 400 km from the destination. I was doing a test flight.

“I am a pilot in training, I know a plane well and, as I was doing well in class, they asked me to take a test trip. So much so that I managed to deal with the crash and made a hard landing. As soon as we got out of the plane, it caught fire. My partner and I being alive is a miracle, ”he explains.

He said they managed to get a backpack and some bottles of water from the plane. As they entered the forest, the friends found a river and followed the shore.

“When it rained, we used leaves as a container to collect rainwater and drink it; other days we found puddles of rainwater and drank it. We tried to make a filter with the shirt to drink this water, so as not to get dirt and grime down the throat ”, says Matheus.

“In the closed forest, you have no idea of the location and for many days we ended up walking in a circle and getting lost many times. Keeping it psychological was the hardest. We often think of giving up, we even think of suicide, but each one gave strength to the other and helped calm the situation, ”says the country singer.

“My greatest strength was my daughter, who was born when I was lost. Every day I would ask her, ‘God, let my daughter know,’ ”she adds.
