This Wednesday the creation of Purple Wave was announced before the advance of the pandemic in the State
The governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema (Novo), announced this Wednesday (3) stricter protection measures against Covid-19. The state now has Onda Roxa in the Conscious Mines plan, created to impose more restrictive measures in regions where there is a risk of collapse of the health system.
The first regions to enter the new rule, which prohibits the operation of non-essential commerce and limits the movement of people (see details here), are the Northwest and the Northern Triangle, which together cover 60 municipalities. Check the list of cities where the restrictions will take effect as of this Thursday (4) for the next 15 days:
