The Attorney General and Secretary of Justice of the United States, William Barrsaid on Tuesday (1) that no evidence of fraud capable of changing the outcome of the November elections, won by Democrat Joe Biden.
“So far, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have produced a different result in the elections,” Barr said in an interview with the Associated Press.
The statement, once again given by an official of one country, reinforces the rejection of President Donald Trump’s attempts to reverse the defeat. Chosen one, Biden will take office on January 20.
In the interview, Barr emphasized that allegations of fraud are limited to very specific circumstances. “These are not systemic accusations and they have been withdrawn,” the secretary said.
Quickly, Trump’s legal team rejected Barr’s opinion, saying that the clerk did not investigate the allegations of fraud. “We will continue to search for the truth through the state legislative and judicial systems,” says the note affirmed by attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis.

At first, the president has racked up losses in different courts so far and has shown discontent with the Republican governors of the states that Biden won this year, especially Georgia and Arizona.
While Trump is still trying to change the election, several states have already certified the ballot numbers, a bureaucratic step that confirms the results before voting in the Electoral College. Among them are Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
