Santa Catarina will have another weekend of restrictions. The measure was proposed by the state government in a meeting with mayors and entities this Wednesday (10). In addition, a dry law was established that prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am throughout the state.

For this weekend only those services and activities that are strictly necessary will be in operation. The actions were presented by the State Attorney General, Alisson de Bom de Souza, as a preliminary model of measures that can be adopted after the completion of Decree 1,168, this Thursday (11).
The proposal of the State Government also brings an extension of the use of 500 police officers exclusively for the inspection of the sanitary measures provided for in a decree.
In the case of public transport, there will be a 50% limitation on vehicle occupancy. Nightclubs, concerts and any type of gathering of people are still prohibited.
Valid for 15 days, they are effective until Thursday (11). The text determined the closure, for example, of party houses and restricted public transport capacity, in addition to a “blockade” in the last two weekends, when only services considered essential could operate. Even access to beaches, parks and squares was forbidden at the time. Inspection actions were also reinforced.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary of Health, André Motta Ribeiro, mayors of the 21 most important cities of SC, representatives of the Legislative Assembly, Federation of Municipalities of Santa Catarina and associations of town halls.
