The complaint made by the PSOL wants to determine if there was a crime of responsibility in the alleged “HQ de la Tarifa”, investigated by the Public Ministry of Rio.

The request was submitted on Tuesday (15), amid the recently revealed suspicion of a corruption scheme involving the mayor and men he trusted after executing search warrants and seizure of Operation Hades.

Last Thursday (10), the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ) and the Civil Police of RJ searched Crivella’s house, the City Hall and the City Palace, where he dispatches. Agents seized a mayor’s cell phone.

Through his press office, Crivella said that the operation was “strange” and “unjustified” and that, last week, he was with the Public Ministry to make his banking, telephone and fiscal secrets available.

The action was an offshoot of Operation Hades, in March this year, investigating an alleged ‘Tuition Fee’ at Rio City Hall.

According to the investigations, companies that were interested in closing contracts or had money to receive from the municipality would deliver checks to Rafael Alves, brother of Marcelo Alves, then president of Riotur.

In return, Rafael would facilitate the signing of contracts and the payment of debts.

Another order was rejected

On August 1, the Chamber rejected another request for impeachment also filed by PSOL. The request was made after the report transmitted on the 31st by RJ2, which showed a scheme with commissioned officials of the City of Rio – with salaries of more than R $ 10,000 – to hinder the work of the press and avoid criticism of the service in the health units of the municipality.
