On the morning of Thursday (12), a body that could be that of the 8-year-old boy José Carlos da Silva, who disappeared 22 days ago, was found buried under a tree in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte.
Local residents were looking for José when they noticed an area of deeper, “soft” and straw-covered soil. According to reports from neighbors, the body shirt is the same as the one the boy was last seen with before he disappeared on October 21.
Civilian police, military police, firefighters and experts from the Forensic Technical-Scientific Institute were sent to the scene.
José was last seen near Rio Doce, when he left the house to bring a juice to his brother who was working at the traffic lights.
