The Public Ministry of Paraná (MP-PR) is executing a search and seizure order in the office of congressman Ricardo Barros (PP), in Maringá, in the north of Paraná, this Wednesday morning (16).
Investigations involve fraud in electricity contracting in 2019. In addition to Barros’s office, there is a search warrant in São Paulo against Delmo Sérgio Vilhena.
In a note, Ricardo Barros said that he is calm and in full collaboration with the investigations. The parliamentarian reaffirmed his impeccable conduct, and reported that he requested access to the file in order to provide further clarification to society and initiate his defense.

Ricardo Barros has been the leader of the Bolsonaro government in the Chamber of Deputies since August and was Minister of Health from 2016 to 2018, during the Temer government. The congressman is in the sixth term in the Chamber and, before that, he was mayor of Maringá.
