Four people from the same family died after an accident with a plane in the region between the municipalities of Roncador and Mato Rico, in Paraná, this Tuesday (29). The victims are businessman Valdecy Cruzeiro, his wife, Luciana Brito Cruzeiro, and their daughters Beatriz Cruzeiro and Julia Cruzeiro. The information is from Paraná Portal and G1.

According to residents of the region, they heard a loud noise and when they went to the rural area they found part of the plane in a plantation and another part within the Río dos Macacos. The Military Police and Civil Defense were summoned.

According to the authorities, the first line of investigation is that the plane crashed during a storm that hit the region early in the morning. The family took off from the Goioerê airport, in the northwestern region of Paraná, bound for Guaratuba, on the state’s coast. The bodies will be transferred to the Guarapuava Medical Legal Institute (IML).

All four people died. The bodies are still being recovered and must be sent to the IML in Campo Mourão, to later be delivered to the family. The tragedy impacted everyone who knew about the accident.

According to the Brazilian Aeronautical Registry (RAB), the aircraft, purchased in September this year, belonged to Valdecy Cruzeiro, owner of a building materials store. The single-engine Cessna 177B could seat three and was in normal airworthiness.
