Police stop truck with 33 oxygen cylinders in Manaus

Manaus – Police from the Ministry of Public Security (SSPAM) seized a truck with 33 oxygen cylinders this Thursday afternoon (01/14), in the Alvorada neighborhood, in the central-west area of ​​Manaus.

A 38-year-old man was arrested and will answer for “withholding products for speculation purposes” and will be at the disposal of the Justice. The security forces learned of the case through an anonymous notice.

The Secretary of Security, Colonel Louismar Bonates, was at the scene of the complaint and found the truck, distant from the company, with the cylinders that the company was gradually distributing.

11 cylinders were sent to Hospital Beneficente Português. Six were for the Amazonas State Oncology Control Foundation (FCecon), six for the São Raimundo SPA and three for the Coroado SPA.
