The Civil Police of Minas Gerais reported today that the 19 people who died in the accident with a bus on BR-381 were identified. The vehicle fell the day before yesterday from a viaduct, known as Ponte Torta, near the city of João Monlevade. In addition to the dead, 23 people were injured and three others were not injured.
The bus driver is still being searched. According to an accident survivor, he let go of the wheel and jumped out of the vehicle at the time of the accident.
In the latest update, the Minas Gerais police reported the death of Maria Luiza de Oliveira, who was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Center (CTI) of the Margarida Hospital, in João Monlevade. With him, there are already six deaths of people who were referred to the health unit.

The fate of the other bodies will still be defined by the Civil Defense of Minas Gerais, which tries to remove them with the support of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB).
Also according to the Police, representatives of Localima Turismo, the company that operated the bus, attended the IML (Medical Legal Institute) yesterday afternoon. They will still be formally summoned to provide clarification in the accident investigation.
