Arrested for libel and injury
Renan Sena is a supporter of the government of President Jair Bolsonaro (without a party). In June, he was detained by the Civil Police for crimes of defamation and injuries, after publishing a video with crimes against authorities of the three branches of the State and the governor of Mexico City, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB). However, he was released after signing a court appearance.
In addition, Sena is also suspected of “narrating the video” in which the protesters launch fireworks against the Federal Supreme Court (STF) (look down). The case occurred on June 13, when some 30 supporters of the president gathered in front of the organ building.

On June 22, Ibaneis filed a criminal complaint against Sena. In the document presented to the court, the governor said that the suspect had insulted and defamed the local executive director in a video that was circulated on social media.
Previously, in May, the Sena was prosecuted for injuries and assault on nurses during an act carried out by health professionals, in Praça dos Três Poderes, in memory of the victims of Covid-19. The suspect was filmed, on May 1, cursing the nurses and pushing one of them. “You consume our fruit from sweat, we build this nation,” the suspect said at the time.
